The meeting is free for AFP members and $10 for non-members. \nREGISTER \nPresenter: Mona Johnson-Gibson\nMona has more than 30 years of experience in the private\, public and non-profit sector in the areas of human service\, marketing\, training and administration. She formerly was the CEO of the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte for 12 years before retiring in January 2020 to Brunswick County.  Mona currently contracts with UNC Wilmington as a non-profit coach for the QENO program.  She holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice\, a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from UNC-Charlotte and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Wake Forest University. She is a past president of Metropolitan Business & Professional Women (BPW) and has served BPW at the district and state levels. She also has served on the Cabarrus Mediation and Teen Court Board helping teens in trouble. In 2011 she was named one of the Mecklenburg Times 50 Most Influential Women. \nREGISTER

SUMMARY:Corporate Giving: or\, How do we get your money?
DESCRIPTION:While corporations and corporate foundations DO broadcast their community focus\, it can be difficult for Non-Profits to know where they fit in the corporate giving wheelhouse. How can we as non-profits be more aware of what impact corporations want to make in our communities\, and how can we approach corporations programmatically to bridge our organizations’ missions with your community outreach priorities. In short\, how do we get your money? \nPanelists: \nZedrick Applin & Manuel Lloyd\, nCino \nZedrick Applin is Head of Diversity\, Equity\, Inclusion\, & Community Involvement at nCino\, having served as the inaugural person in this newly-created role.  Zedrick has spent his entire 16-year career in the financial service industry\, working for a number of different federal agencies\, consulting firms\, and top-tier banks.  He is originally from Dallas\, TX\, and moved to Wilmington in February 2019. \nManuel Lloyd (He/Him/His) is the Diversity\, Equity\, Inclusion and Community Specialist in nCino’s Human Resource office. He is a lifelong Wilmingtonian and a 2017 graduate of UNCW with a degree in Political Science. Prior to his current position\, Manuel previously served for 4 years as the Cultural Enrichment Programs coordinator at the UNCW Upperman African American Cultural Center after graduation. He also serves on the StepUp Wilmington Board of Young Professionals\, is serving his second term as the inaugural Chair of the New Hanover County Commission on African-American History\, Heritage and Culture\, and is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity\, INC. \nBryce Dill\, Corning\, Operations Manager & Wilmington Charitable Contributions Chair \nBryce Dill is an Operations Manager at the Corning Plant\, Wilmington where he manages day-to-day manufacturing operations with a focus on maximizing efficiency and reducing cost.  He also holds the position of Wilmington Plant Contributions Committee Chairman and is responsible for defining the non-profit financial support and vision for the Wilmington facility.  When not working\, Bryce is playing with his three young children\, running\, or volunteering at his church.  Bryce received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University in 2008.  \nJennie Jackson\, Bank of America\, Market Executive\n\nModerator:\nNatalie English\, President & CEO\, Wilmington Chamber of Commerce
