SUMMARY:Getting The Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Getting your donors and prospects to agree to a visit is the first “Yes” fundraisers hear in the process toward getting a gift. Unfortunately\, it can also be the hardest “Yes” to get\, sometimes even harder than getting the gift itself! From hearing “I just don’t have time…\,” meeting gatekeeper after gatekeeper\, a seeming lack of interest or just never hearing back\, there is no shortage of ways donors and prospects say “No” to a visit. \nJoin us April 5th with Dileep Dadlani and David Howell\, Regional Philanthropy Officers for the American Red Cross\, to discuss how to break through these complex and often difficult barriers and Get the Meeting. Topics will include: \n\ncreating a compelling purpose for the visit itself;\ncommon reasons and objections for visits and how to overcome them;\nmaking your case for the visit to prospects and donors;\nsimple tips and tactics for getting past gatekeepers and getting to decision makers;\nharnessing the power of your influencers to help you move the needle;\nand much more.\n\n8-8:30 – Networking\n8:30-9:30 – Program \nREGISTER
