Communications & Website
We are seeking an experienced Communications Chair, to promote programs and special events via email, social media and website. Seeking someone with experience using the email and event features of Constant Contact (or similar) and updating WordPress websites.
Statewide Conference Planning
The 2025 NC Statewide AFP Conference will be held in Wilmington on September 5, 2025. This endeavor will require concerted, committed effort from chapter volunteers to pull it off successfully. Seeking a dedicated team of volunteers to provide a well-organized and memorable conference for our nonprofit colleagues across the state in 2025.
National Philanthropy Day
Work on the NPD Committee to organize the annual fundraiser and celebration that recognizes excellence in the area of giving. We need your help with nominations, event planning, securing sponsorships, and publicity in order to make this event a success. Seeking 2 co-chairs, plus volunteers.
Membership
Help our chapter grow! The membership committee plans outreach to bring in new members, welcomes and connects members to the chapter, and plans social events throughout the year.
Monthly Program Development
Work with our program committee to develop topics and invite speakers for our monthly and special programs. Connect with community and industry leaders to fill each monthly meeting with quality speakers.
