Speak with Purpose: Storytelling and Public Speaking for Nonprofits
In May we’ll enjoy a presentation from Christina Hallingse, a seasoned communications professional with more than sixteen years of experience in government and public sector communications. She currently serves as the Director of Media Relations at Cape Fear Community College, where she leads all aspects of media relations, acts as the college’s primary spokesperson, and provides strategic media guidance to the President and Executive Leadership Team.
This interactive workshop, tailored for nonprofit professionals, is designed to help you build confidence and strengthen your public speaking skills. Participants will learn how to effectively tell their nonprofit’s story, understand their audience, and gain valuable tips for engaging with the media. The session will offer practical strategies for enhancing communication skills, ensuring that attendees leave with the tools to speak confidently and compellingly.
